Typical Coast to Coast Projects

EXXONMOBIL:   ExxonMobil had two rail cars of asphalt (overloaded) that had become “solid” in the winter cold in the BNSF rail yard, Galesburg IL.   Coast to Coast Rail Car Reduction brought in steam and steamed these two cars 24 hrs per day for 7 days.  Finally the asphalt reached a manageable 275 degrees. The overloaded material was pumped off into tank trucks and the rail cars could then proceed on to destination.

INTERNATONAL PAPER:  International Paper had two overloaded gondolas of wood chips in the CSX yard Atlanta GA.  Coast to Coast reduced these cars and disposed of the overloaded material for IP.

 

AMERICAN AG CO:  American Ag Co had an overloaded rail car of beet pellets in the BNSF rail yard Tulsa OK.  Coast to Coast reduced this car and loaded material on American Ag truck at site.

CHEVRON OIL:  Chevron Oil needed temporary storage for Cracking tower “Catalyst” at their Tulsa OK refinery. Coast to Coast provided pneumatic trailers for the temporary storage of this high value product.

CONCHEMCO: Conchemco needed 1500 gallons of Zylene pumped off a rail car (tanker) in Gillette WY. Coast to Coast reduced this car and transferred the material to storage.

WESTERN HAY: Western Hay needed 5,000 lbs of Cotton Seed reduced from a box rail car in the Union Pacific rail yard in North Platt NE.,  Coast to Coast reduced and disposed of this product.

MOSAIC:  Mosaic Fertilizer needed a closed hopper car “balanced out” in Toronto Canada.  Coast to Coast went there with a pneumatic truck with vac., and vacuumed product from one end of the car and blew it back into the other end.

GERADU AMERISTEEL: Geradu Ameristeel needed bundles of steel 45’ long and weighing 30,000 lbs. lifted from an overloaded flat rail car in the CSX rail yard in Evansville IN. and transported by truck to Marion OH.  Coast to Coast reduced this car and delivered the steel to Marion OH.

CM POLYMERS: CM Polymers needed plastic pellets vacuumed from a de railed car on the Norfolk & Southern near Millen GA.  Coast to Coast vacuumed the material and delivered it to Millwood NJ.
